ROKETSAN and Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry expected to reach agreement on joint production

Turkey’s ROKETSAN and Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry are expected to reach one more agreement on joint production, ROKETSAN officials said.

The protocol on joint production of 107- and 122-mm missiles of extended coverage range was signed in February, 2011 during IDEX exhibition in the United Arab Emirates. The agreement on joint missile production is expected to be signed this year. The two sides continue the talks on joint production of Sakarya missile launchers and this agreement is expected to be signed in 2012.

ROKETSAN said the production process on order of the Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry has been started in Turkey and the ammunitions will be delivered to the customer by the end of this year.
