
Today, International Finance Corporation has held the presentation of initial education and certification Program in Risks management sphere in Baku. The program is fulfilled within the framework of IFC’s project on “Strengthening of Financial Infrastructure in Azerbaijan and Middle Asia”.
The specialist of IFC Azerbaijan-Central Asia Financial Markets, Infrastructure project Teymur Heybatov, IFC has involved the Global Association of Risk Professionals to the execution of initial education and certification Program in Risks management sphere and the representatives of this organization will sign contract with three local partners, hold training for them and the local partners will hold trainings to the others: “The contract has already been signed with one of local partners – this is Azerbaijan Bank Training Centre, other two are – Azerbaijan Risk Professionals and Azerbaijan Microfinance Associations”.
He noted that, local partners will hold trainings for 100 persons until the end of contarct with IFC: “GARP will hold trainings for local partners, they will hold to others. The training will be held in English and Russian. But the local partners can translate the trainings into Azeri. Thereafter the exams will be held in writing, for 90 minute”.
Note that, this program will consist of two stages. First stage – from March 14 to January 24, 2012, second stage – from January 24, 2012 to January 30, 2015.
