Azerbaijan to accept proposals related to gas sale routes to Europe until October

Independently which route will be used for transportation of Azerbaijani gas to Europe, SOCAR will be shareholder of this project, SOCAR vice-president Elshad Nasirov said.

To him, SOCAR will purchase a part of this project: "Being a shareholder of the project will make opportunity to SOCAR to participate in its management. SOCAR will acquire a share to participate in transportation, get information about domestic situation, have opportunity to influence on transportation policy".

Nasirov said that Azerbaijan would accept proposals related to gas sale routes to Europe until October 1. The last decision on selection of the route will be passed in October, maximum until the end of the current year.

Remind that, at present, Azerbaijan conduct negotiations with gas receiver from Europe.
