WB’s mission visits Azerbaijan’s Shamakhi region

The mission consisting of WB’s experts has arrived in Azerbaijan to monitor fulfillment of "Real Estate Registration Project" and measures considered in the project.

State Property Issues Committee says the mission includes Senior Land Administration Specialist in the World Bank Malcolm Childress, property management and evaluation Simon Keiz, information technology expert Rumyana Tanchovska.

Note that, main purpose of the project is to establish real estate registration system on the basis of transparent and effective mechanism in the country and to establish favorable mechanisms for more effective management of state property.

WB’s mission got acquainted with preparation of digital cadastral map, as well as with situation of realization of training plans for the workers.

Within the framework of the mission, several meetings were held at State Property Issues Committee and regional offices of the committee in Shamakhi.
