Azerbaijan gets 6% growth in production of electric power, in February

Azerbaijan has produced 1.8 bln kVt/hour electric powers in February, 2011, up 5.9% compared to a year ago.

According to Azerenergy, 1.6 bln kVt/hour of production came from Heat Power Stations, 0.2 bln kVt/hour – from Water Power-Stations. Besides, Azerbaijan continued the energy exchange with Russia, Georgia, Turkey and Iran.

Totally, 3.6 bln kVt/hour of electric power was produced during 2 months of 2011 and 3.4 bln kVt/hour of this came from HPS.
