Azerbaijani and Serbian businessmen meet in Baku

Today, a round table among the Azerbaijani and Serbian businessmen was held in Baku, by the organizing of Serbia-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce and AzPromo (Azerbaijani Export & Investment Promotion Foundation).

40+ businessmen on construction, agriculture, food industry, machine building, energy, pharmacology, logistics, tourism and other spheres of Azerbaijan and Serbia have attended the event.

AzPromo President Adil Mammadov spoke about the Azerbaijan’s economic, business and investment opportunities: "Investment in Azerbaijan during past 15 years, made $95 bln which $50 bln of this invested in non-oil sector".

In turn, President of Serbia-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce Mirko Barac informed about the development opportunities of economic relations and cooperation between two countries, extension of cooperation among the businessmen: "These two country have a great potential to develop the economic relations. Serbian side interests in cooperation on construction sphere".

He also noted the issues on customs duty and taxes between two countries will be discussed. At the same time, export issues of products via Danube River and Black Sea through port of Poti will be discussed.
