Azerbaijani appointed commercial director of Russian Group of Companies

Adil Shirinov has been appointed a commercial director of the Russian Group of Companies producing cars SOLLERS and deputy general director of JSC "Sollers", RBC quotes the company as reporting.

Shirinov will supervise purchase activities of all companies of the group and will be responsible for talks with major suppliers, including with the company's foreign partners supplying vehicle sets for the production of cars in Russia. Also, his responsibilities will include centralized management of function of automobile plants' logistics.

SOLLERS group was founded in 2002. It combines JSC "Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant", "Zavolzhsky Motor Plant", LLC "Sollers-Yelabuga", JSC "Sollers-Naberezhnye Chelny", LLC "Sollers - Far East", CJSC "Severstal-IZUSU" and a joint venture with Fiat .

Adil Shirinov was born in 1964 in Baku. In September 2004 he was appointed a commercial director in the SOLLERS Company. He was appointed general director of LLC "Sollers-Yelabuga" in September 2006. Since November 2010 has served as general director of CJSC "Severstal-ISUZU".
