Financial market glossary presented in Azerbaijan

22 September 2010 [11:35] - TODAY.AZ
The first glossary of financial terms in the Azerbaijani language was presented today in Baku.
The glossary was prepared by the Azerbaijan Center for Economic Development as part of the State Securities Committee's Information and Education Concept for 2009-2011. The glossary was financed by the EU Technical Assistance to CIS Countries (TACIS) Program.

Chairman of the State Securities Committee Rufat Aslanli said the dictionary will be useful for various professionals, such as bankers, journalists and entrepreneurs, and even students.

"We expect that the dictionary will be expanded and improved in the future," he said.

The Information and Education Concept covers all of the country's capital market participants - investors, bankers, media representatives, teachers and students. The concept envisages the creation of various print and electronic media, as well as television programs, an informational hotline and seminars and roundtables.
