SOCAR over-fulfills plan on gas custody transfer for the last 8 months

SOCAR delivered 868 mln 364 thousand cubic meters of gas to the state gas supply system in August. 221 mln 176 thousand cubic meters of gas was injected during August. A total of 647 mln 188 thousand cubic meters of gas was consumed in August. Of this total, 537 mln 293 thousand cubic meters of gas fell to the share of population, industry and Azerenergy. 13 million 28 thousand cubic meters of gas was exported to Georgia, 62 mln 743 thousand cubic meters – Russia, and 34 mln 124 thousand cubic meters of gas – Iran for Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic gas supply.

SOCAR has over-fulfilled plan on natural gas custody transfer for the last eight months. SOCAR delivered 7 bln 484 mln 714 thousand cubic meters of gas to the state has supply system during January-August of the current year that is 666 mln 414 thousand cubic meters more. Besides, 638 mln 680 thousand cubic meters of gas was collected out of underground gas storages for gas supply of the country industry, population and implementation of gas export, and 1 billion 51 mln 843 thousand cubic meters of gas was injected to the storages.

Consequently, overall volume of the consumed gas for Jan-August makes 7 bln 71 mln 551 thousand cubic meters. Of this total, 6 bln 36 mln 461 thousand cubic meters of gas fell to the share of population, industry, and Azerenergy. 233 mln 10 thousand cubic meters of gas was exported to Georgia, 557 mln 391 thousand cubic meters – Russia, and 244 mln 689 thousand cubic meters of gas – Iran for Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic gas supply.
