Turkish president attended the opening of Azer-Turk Bank's new building

Turkey's President Abdullah Gul attended a ceremony to open a new building of the Azer-Turk Bank in Baku on Aug. 17.
Speaking to the event the Bank's Chairman of the Board Mehmet Sami Acarozmen, chairman of the supervisory Board, President of the Azerbaijan National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organizations Mammad Musayev and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Turkish Ziraat Bank said the Azer-Turk Bank played a key role in expanding economic relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey.

President Gul also praised the Azer-Turk Bank's contribution to developing the economic and business relations between the two countries. Following the opening ceremony the Turkish leader viewed the building. The Azer-Turk Bank was set up in 1995. The bank's current assets make AZN10 million. The bank has four branches across Azerbaijan.
