Norway and Azerbaijan signed a grant agreement on address register information system

The State Committee for Property Affairs of Azerbaijan and Norwegian Mapping and Cadastre Authority have today signed a grant agreement on creation of the address register information system.

Prior to the signing ceremony, Chairman of the Committee Karam Hasanov pointed out that the committee will initially use services of international consultants. It will determine system technical requirements and announce a tender to prepare the register database. The project will allow to create the address database.

He pointed out European Union`s EURADIN and INSPIRE`s practices will be used in order to bring the information system in line with European standards.

The agreement was signed by Karam Hasanov and head of the Norwegian Mapping and Cadastre Authority Helge Onsrud.
