SOCAR president meets Norwegian special advisor on energy issues

SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev has met today Norwegian special advisor on energy issues in Caspian region and Central Asia Elizabet Wals who is here to attend 17th international Caspian Oil & Gas Exhibition and Conference.

Wals stressed the importance of the exhibition and conference. She praised SOCAR's “increasingly growing international prestige”.

“SOCAR is recognized as a reliable partner in implementing joint projects being carried out with foreign oil companies.”

Wals pointed out Norwegian Statoil company attaches great importance to cooperation with SOCAR. She also expressed confidence that SOCAR-Statoil cooperation would contribute to developing relationship between Azerbaijan and Norway.

Abdullayev also hailed the cooperation between SOCAR and Statoil. He expressed belief that bilateral cooperation would continue to develop. Abdullayev also briefed Wals on SOCAR-initiated social and ecological projects.
