Azerbaijan's GDP totaled 5.4% in 2010

This March Azerbaijan’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) made up only 117.4% of this February's indicator.

The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan (SSCA) informs that for Jan-Mar 2010 country’s GDP totaled AZN 9.55 bn or $11.939 bn in accord with reported term’s average exchange rate of AZN 0.8 to the US dollar that in comparable prices is by 5.4 percent more than GDP for Jan-Mar 2009 (AZN 6.747 bn).

This March GDP was AZN 3.4 bn versus AZN 2.9 million in February and 3.2 bn in January.

Year-on-year nominal GDP increased by 41.5% for Jan-Mar 2010.
