Azerbaijan announces tender to restore 300 houses

The State Agency for the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Azerbaijan has announced an open tender in connection with the development of design estimates to restore 300 private houses in the villages of the Fizuli region of Azerbaijan, damaged after military actions (as a result of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh), the agency said.

The terms of the tender provides for the following tasks: the development of construction documents for 300 homes included in the list prepared by the apparatus of executive power and approved by the agency. Houses must be studied. If necessary, geo-technical studies of the land should be made. The number of flats will be reflected in the projects given the criteria of the agency.

People with relevant experience in implementing similar operations can take part in the tender (the applicant must submit at least three well developed construction documents to participate in the expertise and registration for the past three years).

Concerned people can obtain tender documents after formal request to the agency by paying 300 manat. Proposals will be accepted until 04:00 p.m. May 17, 2010. On April 3, the official exchange rate is 0.8034 manat to $1.
