Average price on one square meters of area in new buildings in Baku released

Azerbaijan’s Participants of Property Market Public Union has released outcomes of the Dec. 2009 monitoring into the first housing market in Baku.
The monitoring indicated that 157 construction companies were engaged in construction of 439 buildings in Dec. 29, 2009.

Majority of newly-constructed buildings account for Yasamal, Khatai and Nasimi districts of the capital with 65.4-percent share in the overall construction portfolio.

Average price on one square meters of area in new buildings was $912 per a square meter.

Average area of apartments in new buildings was 122.5 square meters.

The average height was is 15.1 floors.
