Bread prices may fall in Azerbaijan

“Wheat prices fell about two times in world markets this year which encourages fall in bread prices. Entrepreneurs must take this factor into account,” Abbasov said.

He said after studying the matter the Agriculture Ministry concluded that reduced bread prices will not harm entrepreneurs.

Azerbaijan’s wheat output totaled over 2.1 million tons this year.

Azerbaijan imported 699,136,400 tons of wheat and 31,522,600 tons of flour in Jan.-Sept., 2009.
