Azerbaijan will launch new tea factory

The factory the construction of which began in June this year consists of three buildings.

The construction of the plant which covers an area of 1 hectares is nearing completion.

The director said pre-processing of tea leaves, bagging, and the sale will be carried out by the factory.

The company equipped with high-tech equipment will operate processing, sorting and packing department.

The factory will receive two tons of green leaves per day which will be presented as to classes and weight.

Fifty people will be provided with regular employment at the factory.

Nearly 30 hectares of tea plantations will be restored to supply the factory with tea leaves.. At present work is underway to fully restore an area of 15 hectares.

Contracts will be signed with individual farmers in future to ensure production of high quality and competitive tea.
