SOCAR, BP discuss prospects for environmental cooperation

Environmental issues were discussed at the expanded meeting of the delegations of the two companies.

The meeting focused on reducing emissions, cooperation and training in environmental monitoring, waste management, electronic library of environmental awareness, environmental awareness and education, as well as prospects for future cooperation between SOCAR and BP Azerbaijan as part of establishing an environmental park.

From BP Azerbaijan, the meeting was attended by the Vice President Greg Matson and Manager for Environmental Affairs Faig Asgarov, and from SOCAR, Vice President for Ecology Mukhtar Babayev, Head of Environmental Department Azer Aliyev, Deputy Director for Environmental Management on General Matters Jabrail Jabrailov, as well as Azneft Deputy Director General for Environmental Matters Faig Jafarov.
