Head of the Azerbaijan Chamber of Auditors Vahid Novruzov and his Uzbek counterpart Ravshan Haydarov signed a cooperation agreement on Oct. 13.
Speaking to the signing ceremony, the chief of the Azerbaijan Chamber of Auditors spoke of President Ilham Aliyev`s attention towards developing audit in the country.
He also noted the Azerbaijan Chamber of Auditors signed 17 agreements and protocols of intentions with 13 foreign counterparts over the last 10 years.
Novruzov said the two countries enjoy high level cooperation in various fields, including politics, economics and culture.
He underlined “Uzbekistan has always supported Azerbaijan`s fair position on the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh”.
The Uzbek chairman stressed relations between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan were “rapidly developing”.
Haydarov also spoke of his organization`s activities.
