Azerbaijan to attend session of int'l organization's marine safety

On May 25-June 6, the Azerbaijan State Maritime Administration will
take part in the 86 session of the Marine Safety Committee of the
International Maritime Organization in London, the administration said
on May 25.
The delegation, headed by the Head of Administration Gudrat Gurbanov will represent the Azerbaijan State Maritime Administration at the session.

The session will discuss the definition and control over long distances, standards for the construction of new vessels and other relevant issues. Chairman and deputy of the Marine Safety Committee will also be elected in 2010.
