He said the world is currently creating closed payment systems and the CIS states have a choice of whether to join it or create their own systems.

Nefidov noted that there is no need to introduce a virtual currently for conducting payments, the payments can be done in the national currencies of the CIS states.

"But we consider that clearing operations must be conducted not by the Central Banks of the countries. It is necessary to create a separate formal non-commercial structure with commercial banks to be its founders", considers Nefedov.
