Several new bridges to open in Azerbaijan this year

A number of bridges, pedestrian crossings and tunnels will be opened for use in Baku and Khirdalan by the end of this year.
Yegana Hajiyeva, architect of the construction company Akkord, told APA-ECONOMICS that the second largest road bridge will be opened in November.

"This bridge is part of a road intersection of Heydar Aliyev Avenue, Babek Avenue and Safarov Street. Here will be 4 bridges and 2 tunnels," she added.

She also noted that a bridge and tunnel will be opened in Khirdalan this year.

"We also plan to open a rail bridge in Nobel Avenue and some footbridges in Baku by the end of this year," she said.
