Water supply restored - UPDATED

Spokesman for Sumgayitelektrikshebeke Anar Quliyev confirmed information about restoration of power supply to Azersu.

"The power supply was restored half an hour ago", said Quliyev.

He noted that though the debt has not yet been paid, the talks on the debt payment are underway.

A confidential source in the government told Day.Az that energy supply to Azersu was restored, though issue of debt has not been settled yet.

It seems that the said decision was adopted at the governmental level. In the near future, the Day.Az correspondents will try to contact Sumgayitelektriksheveke for more detailed information on the issue.

It should be reminded that power was cut to Azersu due to the accumulated debt. The Azersu water economy has accumulated a debt for use of electricity in the amount of AZN 37,940,788, while within four months of this year the amount made AZN 3,449,836.
