Aras Aghalarov to invest nearly $1 billion to creation of resort area in Azerbaijan

"Azerbaijan is a country with rich history and culture, therefore, it is necessary to create a resort area here, where people could have a rest, familiarize with our culture, popularize the country in the Russia, and if possible, in the world", said Aghalarov in Baku.

According to him, work is currently being carried out in this direction. "There is a plan to create the resort area between Nardaran and Pirshaghi. Cleaning works are held on a small area", he said.

Speaking about the terms of the project implementation, Aghalarov noted that this will last long. "The project is on the stage of working out the documents and on the whole this is a project of international importance, which should involve serious specialists and foreign architects", said he.

"If the said project is implemented, it will be spoken of in the whole world, as I implement global projects", said Aghalarov.
