Azerbaijan to host forum of OIC states' tourism operators

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for the Ministry of Culture and Tourism that the event is expected to be attended by representatives of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Cameroon, UAE, Jordan, China, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Japan and Italy.

Three sessions will be held on the first day of the forum in the Baku hotel Ambassador during which Minister of Culture and Tourism Abulfas Garayev and representative of the World Tourism Organization for the Silk Road project will deliver a speech and on April 14-16 the visitors will familiarize with the historical monuments of Qabala and Sheki.

They will visit the AITF-2008 international exhibition on tourism in Baku on the last day of the forum-on April 16.
