State Statistical Committee: "Inflation rate may near 10-13% in 2008"

The due announcement was made by chairman of the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan Arif Veliyev during a press conference.

He noted that processes ongoing in the world affect Azerbaijan as well.

"Prices of gold and oil are rising in the world, which affects our country as well", he said.

At the same time, he noted that inflation rate in Azerbaijan was 16.7% in 2007.
