Baku hosts meetings of Regional Communication Union's Commissions

Deputy Azerbaijan's Communication and Information Technologies Minister Iltimas Mammadov noted that including Azerbaijan, nine CIS countries attend the meetings. Informing the quests about the economic development of Azerbaijan, deputy minister supply of all spheres with information technologies is one of the main issues. He stressed that the state supports the development of ICT in Azerbaijan.

Iltimas Mammadov noted that the sitting of Commission for Economy of Communication will cover discussions on function of administrative bodies in the sphere of communication and information technologies of RCU member countries, main principles of postal legislation and development of postal communication, exchange of experience of postal communication companies and telecommunication companies, implementation of universal service mechanisms, the venue and date of 20th meeting.

The joint meeting of the both commission will be held on Friday, APA-Economics reports.
