Azerbaijan, Kurgan province sign intergovernmental deal for economic cooperation

Thursday, Azerbaijan's senior deputy premier Yagub Eyyubov met with Russia's Kurgan province governor Oleg Alexeyevich Bogomolov.

The meeting focused on the current level of socioeconomic, commercial and scientific relations and prospects of further expansion of the bilateral cooperation. The parties signed a protocol and an intergovernmental agreement for economic cooperation.

Oleg Bogomolov also met with Azerbaijan's Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev. Russian Trade Office in Baku told APA-Economics that issues concerning economic cooperation, joint projects and future commercial relations were discussed at the meeting.

Oleg Bogomolov invited representatives of Azeri companies to Kurgan to learn the potential of cooperation.
