Imishli Sugar Refinery to extend its daily capacity to 1,500 tons

Imishli Sugar Refinery plans to expand its daily capacity to 1,500 tons by this year's end, through application of advanced technology, said the company owner Azersun Holding President Abdolbari Goozal.

He said the work on sugar beet acreage expansion has continued to progress and a large area of acreage has been purchased in Bilasuvar and experiment is carried out jointly with American specialists.

He added that Azersun Holding intends to set up an agriculture research center in the country, APA-Economics reports.
