Georgia wants additional supplies from Azerigaz

Chief executive of the state-run Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) Alexander Khetaguri will visit Baku on March 29 to negotiate with the Azerbaijan's state company, Azerigaz, on additional supplies of gas.

Apart from gas from the Azerbaijani Shah-Deniz field, Georgia also imports 1.3 million cubic meters of gas per day from Azerigaz at USD 120 per 1000 cubic meters. The contract with Azerigaz, however, expires on April 1, so Tbilisi wants to extend the contract, according to the GOGC. Civil Georgia
