Azerbaijan's Jan-Feb oil exports 4.815m tons

During the period of January-February Azerbaijan exported a total of 4.815m metric tons of oil, up 2.134m tons or 79.6% from a year earlier.

Also, Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC) exported 4.752m tons of oil, 2.172m tons or 84.2% more than the same period last year.

AIOC Office told APA-Economics that it didn’t pump oil via Baku-Supsa pipeline over these months while it sent 1.133m tons of oil through this route in the same period last year.

A total of 511.255 tons of oil in export was delivered to Batumi Port, down 35.4% from a year earlier.

Oil exportation through Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline fell 12.9%, year-on-year, to 659.812m during these months, of which 511.255m tons were pumped by the AIOC and 63,000 tons by the State Oil Company (SOCAR).

Azerbaijan sent abroad 3.644m tons of oil and 13,870 tons of Shah Deniz condensate through Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.

Azerbaijan exported a total of 22.127m tons of oil during 2006, of which 20.955 tons were pumped by the AIOC.
