Remittance to Georgia from Azerbaijan reaches $87,000

During January a total of US $87,000 was transferred to Georgia from Azerbaijan, while Azerbaijan received $261,000 in remittance from this country.

The National Bank of Georgia told APA's bureau that Georgia received a total remittance of $51,473m from abroad and transferred $4.933m abroad during this period.

Azerbaijan transferred $662,000 to Georgia and was beneficiary of $1,531,000 from Georgia during 2006.
