SOCAR negotiates with Total, Chevron and Agip on transit of Kazakhstan oil via Azerbaijan

State Oil Company of Azerbaijan is negotiating with Total, Chevron and Agip on transit of Kazakhstan oil through Azerbaijan, said SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev.

"We negotiated with Chevron on transportation of Tengiz oil. As per the MOU on transportation of Kashgan Field oil, these companies are preparing oil transit project," he noted.

He added Azerbaijan will take part in Trans-Caspian transit project, and infrastructure for transportation of Kazakh oil is under discussion, APA reports.
