AMFA members' current loan portfolio grows 91%

At January 1, 2007, total amount of the current loan portfolio of 22 AMFA member bank and nonbank crediting organizations reached US $139,767,756, up 91.1% from the previous year.

Azerbaijan Micro-Finance Association told the APA that the total amount of loans lent by the members in 2006 grew 90.4% to $436,646,165 and active clientele reached 70,413 in number. Azerbaijan Micro-Finance Association (AMFA) was established in 2001.
