UniBank's assets more than doubled in 2006

The assets of the UniBank CB rose 115% to AZN 138.9m in 2006.

Bank's head office told the APA that its loan portfolio stood at AZN 87.3m, up 96% from previous year.

The total deposits grew 93%, year-over-year, to AZN 80.5m, of which AZN 43.1m was term deposits, and deposits made by individuals went up 68% to AZN 39.4m.

Bank's pre-tax revenues rose 68% to AZN 17.9m, balance profit climbed 69% to AZN 4.3m in 2006.
