Gold plant to be opened in Azerbaijan

In April gold-producing plant will be opened in Gadabey, Azerbaijan.

Gadabey Executive Committee chairman Kamran Rzazade told the APA that the construction works have continued to progress and is about to be complete.

He said that Azerbaijan will be leading in the region for gold production. "The plant will also reduce unemployment, by hiring some 3,000 people. About 3,000 jobs were created during the period of 2003-06. This plant will at least double employment in Gadabey," he said.
