18 January 2007 [01:38] - TODAY.AZ
Georgia continues to discuss details with Turkey on redistribution of Turkey's quota in Shah Deniz project.

Georgian Energy Minister Nika Giluari told the APA Bureau that Georgia will get 800m cu m of gas from Turkey's quota in 2007, Azerbaijan will have 1.2 bn cu m of gas and Turkey will sell the rest 300m cu m to Greece after redistribution.

He said that there are three mechanisms to compensate Turkey for gas supplies.

"To compensate by money, by electricity and by delivering gas in 2008-14, Turkey want the third, but the second is more favorable for us," he underlined.

Georgia will be able to receive gas of Turkish quota after Shah Deniz gas output increases. Now Georgia is only importing its share of 250m cubic meters.
