222,600 tons of fuel saved in thermal power plants in 2006

222,600 metric tons of fuel were economized on during 2006.

The fuel consumption decreased by 11 grams per Kw y-o-y, Azerenergy told APA.

In December fuel consumption for electricity generation was 363.26 gram/kilowatt/h in the thermal power plants and 7,900 tons of fuel were saved.
