Government sets price on cement

The Economic Development Ministry of Azerbaijan and Garadagh Cement have released the standard selling price imposed on the cement for domestic market.

The retail selling price of "Optimal Cement" per bag (50kg) was set at 7,25 manats, "Spesial Cement" at 7,95 manats. Price tags will be put on the cement bags.

7 distributors and 112 retail dealers will sell the cement products in Baku, Sumgait and Absheron at the newly set prices. Afterwards, selling stations will be opened in all regions.

The Ministry's Antimonopoly Department will have control over the cement sale and punish those who increase the prices artificially. APA
