             The contractors from Azerbaijan and Turkey are ready to commence construction while the start-up delays through Georgia's red-tape. It is supposed Tbilisi's delay is aimed at obtaining more concession and privileges.
The US House of Representatives on Wednesday approved an amendment to bar the U.S. Export-Import bank from financing a railway corridor linking Turkey, Georgia and Azerbaijan.
European Commissioner for External Relations Benita Ferrero-Waldner said the EU won't finance the project either.
Despite obstacles, Azerbaijan and Turkey assumed the financing of the project, not asking Tbilisi for any funds, APA informed.
