Army Assistance Fund increase funds

The funds allocated increased AZN 14 000 and $200 as against August 1, Defense Ministry told the APA.

According to the regulations of the Assistance Fund for Azerbaijani Armed Forces, its financial sources are formed by voluntarily granted money by physical and juridical persons and other legal funds. The granted money is spent on improving maintenance of the Armed Forces, making, experimenting and modernizing military products, purchase of military equipment, weapons, training military personnel as well as solving social and private problems of servicemen.
