Ziya Mammadov: "An ad hoc commission has been set up for abolishment of Transport Department and transfer of its authorities to the Ministry of Transport"

"An ad hoc commission has been set up for abolishment of Transportation Department under auspices of Baku Mayor' Office and transfer of its authorities to the Ministry of Transportation," Transport Minister, Ziya Mammadov told journalists.

He said that the reason for abolishment is to prevent repeated ad control.

"The reforms will help establish discipline in transport system of the country, improve services to passengers and modernize the transport system."

There is no information about the structure will be established in the Transportation Ministry to replace the abolished department, APA informs.
