Alcatel plans Azeri expansion

According to AssA-Irada, he said the new company, Alcatel Baku, will play a mediating role between Alcatel and local companies.

Richter noted that Alcatel last year opened a representation in Azerbaijan through its center operating in Turkey.

"According to Azerbaijan's laws, such entities may be engaged only in marketing goods and representing Alcatel. This does not allow the company to pursue expansion plans. The new company, however, will assist in signing contracts with clients on all types of services," Richter said.
