30 artesian wells to be drilled to solve water supply problem in Terter

30 artesian wells are planned to be drilled in Terter region of Azerbaijan by 2008 to solve the region’s water supply problem.

As APA reports, five artesian wells are being drilled now. The first blowing well in the frames of the project has been commissioned.

The water pipes in the central streets of the region are also being renovated. In addition, new electric cables are being constructed and roads are being asphalted. The measures in the frames of the program on economic development of the region will be completed by 2008.
