Ziyad Samadzade: "Strengthening of manat and inflation will go on by this year's end"

Strengthening of Azerbaijani national currency (manat) will continue by this year's end and this tendency can cause some problems in Azerbaijani economy.

As APA reports, Milli Majlis economic policy standing commission Chief Ziyad Samadzade told journalists in his interview that central bank will prevent dramatic revaluation of manat by possible measures and tools.

But he thinks the inflation will go on by this year's end and even he doesn’t rule out the inflation will reach two-digit level.

Within last year rate of Azerbaijani manat for USD strengthened 6.4% and inflation rate constituted 9.4%.
