Construction work in Vaykhir Hydro Power Station to be over in two months

The construction of Power Station containing 10 modules is expected to be launched in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) by late this year.

As APA reports, construction area near Nakhchivan-Ordubad road has been treated so far.

Azerenergy President Etibar Pirverdiyev has been on Nakhchivan visit to see the implementation of recent energy projects. He has met with Vasif Talibov, NAR Parliament Spokesman, to consult on projects.

He has also been to construction area and has given advice and instructions to workers there. Moreover, Mr. Pirverdiyev has also got close look at 4,5 MW Vaykhir Hydro Power Station construction. The construction there is expected to be over in two months.

The module construction area has already been fenced, the land has been treated as necessary and the transport road has been built. Temporary single-storey building and a canteen are also constructed to manage the process. 142 persons, 136 of whom are residents, work there. Necessary facilities will be obtained from Finnish Company Wartsila.
