Gas payment coefficient in Azerbaijan increased twice

Gas payment coefficient in Azerbaijan reached 31% increasing twice in January-May this year.

Alikhan Malikov, Director of Closed Joint Stock Company (CJSC) Azerigas has reported journalists about.

"There is increase in the collection of gas consumption money. However our main objective is to rapidly finish the installation of gas-meters."

Mr. Malikov has stated that 85% of the installation process is expected to be realized by end this year, APA reports.

"We plan to realize the process by 100% except for Baku, Ganja and Sumgait."

Malikov has said that they buy meters from Industry Oil Science and Education Union. They are going to order them from other enterprises too.

"About 100 thousand meters are required to be bought. We must apply at the Government Administration."

Mr. Malikov has talked about gas provision in Lerik and Yardimli. Gas provision in Lerik and Yardimli will be finished by end this year and the inauguration will take place.

"AZN6 million was transferred for this purpose and another AZN3 million is required more. IT is expected to be transferred soon."

Malikov has also said that 1 billion cubic meters gas will be pumped into underground reservoirs.

"180 million cubic meters gas capacity volume was pumped into reservoirs. There are 200 million cubic meters remained from last year too."
