United Press International: "Belarus mulls oil supplies from Azerbaijan"

Belarus said it will begin studying prospects of supplies of oil and oil products from Azerbaijan.

Deputy Prime Minister Andrey Kobyakov said after the third session of the Belarusian-Azerbaijani intergovernmental meeting on trade and economic cooperation that the government will consider prospects of getting oil supplies from Azerbaijan given the growing prices for oil and transportation expenses, Belapan news agency reported.

Oil supplies from Azerbaijan to Belarus "are a very big and serious reality," he said.
