Jahangir Asgharov: "There will be five international airports in Azerbaijan"

"There will be five international airports in Azerbaijan," said Jahangir Asgharov, general manager of the Azerbaijan Airlines State Concern (AzAL).

Mr. Asgharov said that the construction is being completed in Ganja International Airport at present. The airport is expected to be ready in June or July this year.

According to APA, the general manager noted that another international airport will be built in Zagatala this year, which will be put into use in August next year. The international airport, which is being built in Lenkeran, will be put into operation in 2007 too.
