South Korea interested in non-oil sector

14 May 2006 [09:46] - TODAY.AZ
The key goal of the South Korean businessmen's talks in Baku was to discuss investments in the oil sector, but the outcome of the visit revealed extensive opportunities for doing business in other fields in Azerbaijan, said Emil Majidov, president of the Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO).

"The Korean entrepreneurs became confident only in conclusion of the visit that sustainable development is observed in the non-oil sector as well," he said, commenting on the meetings held by this country's representatives as part of President Roh Moo-hyun's visit to Baku.

According to Assa-Irada, Majidov added that another mission of South Korean representatives working in the commerce and industry fields is expected to visit Azerbaijan soon.
